Knowing that Music doesn't make a lot of money nowadays and same goes for Poetry too, do you believe that a lot of musicians you know so far have jobs outside of music? Because knowing that Poets often have jobs that are unrelated to poetry at all due to their poetry not making any money, I assume its the same for musicians(which I hardly even call it a Job nowadays, and more like a hobby since there is no money in it due to streaming).

Did poetry ever make "a lot of money"?

I know there are multiple biases informing this impression and yet I can't help feeling that on some level it has some broader truth to it.
