Tonight I had an emotional trauma flashback to the height of the pandemic remembering the crushing feeling of no one in power caring if we all lived or died while I slaved away at Burger King so exhausted I couldn't think straight and could barely walk. Trump's lies, the dems worrying more about scoring political points than helping anyone, and I just have tears of pure rage pouring down my face hoping to god they all die. There wasn't even a rational reason this all hit me but I realized I'd blocked out all this hate and rage and now it just washed over me in waves and I still hate them all. And nothing has changed and nothing will change until they hang.

I'd say the reaction is completely understandable.

And the politicians wonder why everyone is so angry. I'd probably feel the same way were I in your shoes.

I'll pass on the period pain. The ladies can keep that one.

I hate pain. It hurts.

I remember this toy my kids had. It sang songs about emotions. One my boy kept picking was "If you're angry and you know it take a breath". It was one of the most bratty voices I've ever heard. My girl actually took the advice to heart. I've seen her beside herself, then all of a sudden she'll sit down and take deep breaths. Yay toys!
