Please don't ruin this film with this music
(my wife tells me that it's a Pink Floyd song). ...and please, more light in the visuals. (I'm sure he's reading this). I may be interested in "Dune: The Sisterhood" too. Last edited by rostasi; 09-09-2020 at 05:05 PM. |

That trailer brought back flashbacks from just having read that godawful book. I remember that stupid box scene. How the **** is this **** famous? And Dune was already a ****ty movie. They really need to go there again? Yikes.

I stopped listening to them around '72,
so I don't own and haven't listen to any of their stuff past that time. Loved the books growing up. A big influence on my writing style in those days, but it's been incredibly difficult for them to be done correctly as films. I'm guessing because of the density of the prose. |

I’m guessing because of the ****tiness of the prose.
It’s like, tell a story bitch.

Well, we aren't going to agree.
To me, the storyline(s) have always been incredible and the otherworldly picture that's painted is so creatively encompassing in its scope that you have this fine line that needs to be tread in order for the story to not be so completely overwhelming in film. |

It's a great story what are you talking about? @OH
I'm currently reading it. I hope theaters are open by the time this comes out. Never seen the Lynch film, not super interested tbh. I'm a big fan of the Jodorowsky/Moebius ghost version though. I will watch Timothee Chalamet in anything tbh but casting him as Paul gave me butterflies |

You'll get no truck from me hating on Harry Potter, LOTR, and fantasy even if I'm not over the moon about Dune. Bitchass mother****er.

I had no idea that it was like Harry Potter, that makes me more interested in it than what I know about it so far.
