That trailer brought back flashbacks from just having read that godawful book. I remember that stupid box scene. How the **** is this **** famous?

so I don't own and haven't listen to

Loved the books growing up.

but it's been incredibly difficult for them to be done correctly as films.

To me, the storyline(s) have always
been incredible and the otherworldly
picture that's painted is so creatively
encompassing in its scope that you
have this fine line that needs to be
tread in order for the story to not be
so completely overwhelming in film.

Horrible Harry Potter/LOTR fantasy with corny ass symbolism that has aged incredibly poorly pretending to be science fiction and on top of that is insufferably boring af.

You'll get no truck from me hating on Harry Potter, LOTR, and fantasy even if I'm not over the moon about Dune. Bitchass mother****er.

I had no idea that it was like Harry Potter, that makes me more interested in it than what I know about it so far.
