Hmmm good question. It could all be part of some long-term plan of his to deprive her for as long as possible until he reaches max Grinchian levels of torture/fully embodies the grinch.

(and honestly that post is way more reasonable than some other advice sub reddit posts where, typically, some guy is like "My gf refuses to quit her job to participate in my adult baby fetish 24/7. Am I the *******?")
