You tried to compare Elph's drinking to the abusive behavior of his dad then singled out Mindful, out of everybody, for wanting a medication for his anxiety in a thread where known alcoholics and people with far more unhealthy habits are all talking about wanting some kind of medication for their anxiety. Just a forum culture reminder: Being overly direct in the mental health forum is considered bad form because a) it’s a safe space b) it’s impossible to really understand what people are going through.

That said, I still think it’s worth noting that your original observation wasn’t necessarily wrong. But if you want to post in there, please soften the delivery.
