Yesterday I talked at length with my sister and brother in law to congratulate them on my youngest nephews wedding on Saturday. Afterwards I found myself slipping back into the New England accent for the rest of the day. :tramp:
I will slip up every now and then when talking with my boss and his wife and they nail me every time.
When our company was still up and running if someone paged my wife it would be "LinDUH, call extension XXX". :rofl:

Definitely. It was a Packie store for me the entire time growing up. Here's a couple others. Jeans are dungarees and a purse is a pocketbook.

Surely jeans just come up to your waist, while dungarees have a bib and shoulder straps; two different ítems of clothing. Just because they' re both usually denim isn't much reason for mixing up the terms. What's going on in Boston??

You don't call those overalls? Anyway, "dungarees" is kind of an old school word. People from Boston who are in their forties or younger don't use it.

Shocker. Gone for nearly the whole day yesterday and absolutely nothing interesting happens at this forum.

I deleted some spam. That was interesting. And head on over to the Food Box where they're eating elephant testicles. It doesn't get much more interesting than elephant testicles in your diet.

Same threads are bumped every day. Nobody gets praise on their journals anymore. Dj's bi weekly update didn't happen. No album reviews for people that have been wanting them for their own personal work.
