Scenario: My girlfriend and I went to Safeway and we were talking about work and some of the things that happened. Some lady behind us said "that's inappropriate" and "wow, that's disturbing". Keep in mind that I was not even speaking to her, nor was I speaking loud enough for her to hear.

Is it my fault that it was offensive? I'm seriously interested to know. Because I personally don't think it's my fault if some random lady decides to butt into my conversation.

I'm glad i'm not the only one that thinks it's inappropriate for her to butt into the conversation. That sort of thing happens way too often. If i'm not including someone in the conversations, they shouldn't be allowed to butt in by saying they think it's wrong or inappropriate.
