Yeah cause a greasy burger and fries at midnight when you're sloshed is amazing. Or a pizza with barbecue sauce instead of tomato sauce cause it's 1am and it seemed like a good idea at the time.

Nothing beats those 2 AM taco trucks when you're trashed as **** after a show.

I suspect I hate far fewer children than you do everyone else based on their appearance.

That is exactly the opposite of my experience.

But then again I've always worked in female dominated environments. Boys are too much drama.

Just be kind to everyone and stop worrying about it.

For one year there were two tables for the teachers to eat lunch at and the other table would barely have room and still I ate by myself everyday. Later I heard them say I was aloof because I always brought a book and read. It’s true I wasn’t interested in anything they said ever but I was always polite.

At large staff meetings it was also very common for me to sit alone. I typically arrived early because I hated crowded uncomfortable spots so badly. Again I sat and read.

They considered me a snob but they were deeply out of touch with how truly inferior they were.

It's not so much gendered, what you have to look out for is the people who yammer on about work culture.

The Batlord 09-26-2019 01:45 PM

Honestly **** the cliques. I'm my own clique and everyone else is their own and I'm just waving on my way to class.

Girls complain though. Men just stop talking when **** hits the fan.

I'd argue that girls resolve the problem and then move on rather than repressing it, but again, I've been spoiled by great work environments.
