Also was very hit or miss for me. Sometimes it came out great and sometimes it was a hot mess.

I mean rice isn't rocket science but you're not just cooking it you're building it so while it's simple it has ways of ruining itself if you're a scrub like us. I used to not know that you have to bring the water back up to boiling when adding rice to boiling water and couldn't figure out why it always came out crunchy.

Am I right though, is stir fry anything in fact the easiest thing on earth and always tastes good compared to non-stir fry versions of the same food?

Well, there's also regular frying.

Nothing but there's a wide area between "mother****ing steak" and "depressing survival food" where stir fry broccoli can make a name for itself.

I want the taste of Chinese ancestors and soy sauce.

Roast it with parmesan and garlic and eat it with tofu sauteed in chili paste.

it wasn't the rice part. To make fried rice, first I would make the rice in a rice cooker and let it sit in the fridge a few days.

You try frying uncooked rice and that's gonna be more than just kinda crunchy.

I'd take a broccoli based stir fry dish over boring ass steak any day.

I'm just asking for some ****ing confirmation: if my non-cooking hopeless ass leanrs (sic) to stir fry even basically do I become a lazy survival food god?

the first part sounded good

I've honestly never had tofu but if I had the ingredients I would give this a try

Tbh though my dad's old gf used to make a veggie based lasagna and eggplant parmigiana. Is it good? Yea. Is chicken parmigiana better? Absolutely. It could just be my taste buds are used to it.
