Rewatching the Android/Cell saga in DBZ Abridged and man did they make the Tien/Cell fight more badass than the anime. Chucking the garbage music helps but it's so much tighter and somehow more dramatic (and with better English voice acting to boot). I think they even changed the sounds so that the explosions are more gnarly.

Yeah, the law of attraction is basically Thelemic magick. It's the idea that the energy you put out into the universe is going to effect what the universe gives you in return. They just have stupid rituals to go with it.
