I think his point which he ended up coming off like a hater. Is that girls on YouTube are making more money than him off of gameplay videos just because they call themselves girl gamers when they only play one game. All they have to do is show some cleavage from time to time and they get tons of subscribers and that YT money. He is sipping on the haterade hard calling the viewers of those girls thirsty. He just wishes he was making as much money as them with as little effort.

Thats so obnoxious though, like I really hate the "fake geek girl" trope because it's total bull****. Albinwonderland had a great video about it that said basically "there are no fake geek girls, just girls who fall in love with things at various degrees"

The thing about the whole "girl gamer" and "geek girl" thing I don't get is why do the girls that are into those things even have to specify their gender? Who cares. Guys don't go around saying I'm a boy gamer/dude gamer. If you like things that fit into the geek culture then you are a geek and if you like to play games at any degree then you are a gamer. Gender doesn't need to be assigned to the it.

Yeah some dudes always like to test girls to see if they are geek enough or just pretending for attention because being a geek is the in thing nowadays. It must be some residual hate from when being a geek was unpopular and certain girls would end up teasing them for being who they are but over time the geek culture has changed.
