Every time he does that it makes me think of The Bloody Board. Then I thank goodness that MariaExpressesHerself left her forum to come here.

Lucem, you're right, it's silly to talk about what I would or wouldn't do IRL. Glad you brought it up. Maybe you should write an instrumental about it. I recommend a piano paired with a clarinet. With ambient sounds of you hanging from your shower curtain you ****ing failure.

Searching "The Bloody Board" also led me to this.

You don't need to have any special skills to build one. If you can handle a tape measure, a saw, a screwdriver, and a wrench, you can do it.
A little imagination and planning and you'd be surprised with the result.
You can make it as simple or complicated as you like. I've built 3 of them over the past 38 years (beginning when I was 19) and I'm planning to build another one at some point before I reach retirement age (if I make it that long) and if you want, you can live in it rent and utility bill free and save a fortune while doing so.

Spoiler for Van Build Videos:

^ You could do any of these if you're willing to put a bit of your time, money, and effort into it.

And the fun of building one and the satisfaction you get from the finished result are priceless.
