I feel like RTS could be real fun when you've got the core mechanics down on autopilot but damn before then it's like trying to save a sinking ship
There's no reason I should like RTS as much as I do considering how awful I am, and much of my love of StarCraft is watching competitive players and learning the meta. As far as games I can actually play and have fun with and not feel like a retard with Red Alert 2 is my ****. All that **** with putting your production buildings on hotkeys is dealt with cause there's a static menu on your right that has all your production (like all Command & Conquer games). And that's like half the game made easy right there.
And the units are designed more about being ridiculous and fun to use and watch kill things than being balanced. I mean you have defense units that electrocute enemies, tanks that fire two shells and have air defense, giant zeppelins of death, and that's just the Soviets. It's a much easier game to play but the fun level is off the charts. It's also got the last and best looking iteration of sprite graphics and sprites > 3d.

No idea what it is but looks cool. Is there even a nerd shirt thread?
Wearing a Mercyful Fate T used get people thinking you might just cast a spell on em or maybe kill their cat. Now T's like that are economical balancers. Crazy kids.
self identifying as a nerd is some Big Bang Theory level pop culture drek
Spending your life from 6 to 20 being told you're a nerd (back when that was not a "cool" thing to be, no less) might also have something to do with it.
