Um actually, if you were going to steal poetry to begin with it would make a lot more sense to steal from someone who is not a poet. That way you would be much more likely to get away the theft and pass it off as your own. Otherwise, somebody familiar with that poet’s work would just call you out on your nonsense.

I agree with this! Except no one reads poetry anymore, so I'd mostly be in the clear, even if I stole from someone famous.
