I have it on VHS but my VHS player is ****ed. I've watched it on VHS probably more than any movie ever and would love to watch it on my TV as I'd be able to blast the volume but such is life.
Honestly one of my favorite memories as a child is when I went to a video store as a very young child (like 5 or 6) and tried to rent Jurassic Park right after it came out on video and the clerk told me that all the versions for rent were already rented out, and I was heartbroken. But there was a version to buy and my mother knew how much it meant to me so I just got a version for my own forever without ever expecting it. The feeling of blatant exultation is something I like to think made my mother's year.
P.S. Dan Muldoon was the true hero of the movie and should never have died cause the unfulfilled injustice of him watching that man die as he tried to save him at the beginning was never resolved and it's never sat right with me. At the very least he should have been able to put down ONE of the raptors with that badass ****ing shotgun.
"SHOOT HER!!!" 4 lyfe
