Does rocket engineering give someone deep insight into gender relations?

Is it that preposterous to think that a rocket engineer who's notoriously passionate about science in general would have a bit more insight into understanding biology than a lawyer?

Rocket engineering, biology and gender relations are all vastly different subjects, but I agree that I would trust an engineer over a lawyer 9 times out of 10.

I'm talking more about gender identity which is biological with the new information over time showing that matching chromosomes doesn't always create a female and vice versa. Even showing that some transgender people's brain patterns match the patterns of the gender they identify as rather than the gender of their physical body.

And then there's gender as a social construct and how that probably throws a giant wrench in the works making the whole thing a cluster**** to figure out for non-trans people, let alone people who actually have all of that clusterbombing their brains. I'd definitely rather be gay or black than trans. Sounds way less alarming just on a personal level.

I haven't told my parents I'm black yet.
