That album is terrible btw.

I like how the guitars sound on the album and there's some cool riffs, but otherwise I've got no attachment to it. But then again, not a fan of LOG in general anyway.

I dont usually watch speedruns but the progression and history behind them are very interesting in some cases.

You listen to metal wrong, dude. The production is limp and tepid for kids who couldn't even handle As the Palaces Burn or Ashes of the Wake, which have lame production as well but I guess they have the semblance of balls.

Nah, I think it sounds alright. The worst part is how the vocals are mixed so loud it makes the guitars sound too quiet. Sounds fine in the Randy-free segments. Plus there's loud bass, which helps make it sound more ballsy than a lot of similar metal. Not that I think it's a great production job, but I've heard way worse.

But really, I could count the metal albums that I think have great sound on relatively few hands. One of the best things about listening to much more non-metal than usual in 2018 has been the huge number of absolutely great sounding records I've listened to.
