that'd be disappointing

For some odd reason I started sometimes watching tennis a couple years ago. I don't understand 100% why I don't think it's boring when I usually hate watching sports. I've tried giving so many sports a chance, but I don't care about them. But watching people smack a ball back and forth with a racket is somehow meaningful.

Same. Shame that women's tennis isn't nearly as awesome.

I've watched plenty of both and I fail to see where the big difference is. I watched a 4 hour long Federer match where both players utilized very few interesting, daring moves. It was just endurance. I think women's tennis migh actually be a bit more varied, certainly not less in any case.

Because you can tell that they're slower and can't hit the ball as hard. It takes a lot of the tension out when you realize that a middling male player could probably shitwreck Serena Williams.

Eh, that's why they play against other women. I just worry that those games where every ball comes in at light speed means that no one dares to go for net play or other tricky things like that. Just hit it hard from the base line and make your opponent run for it. Gets a bit old when a whole game goes like that, which does happen.
