Why is it that tumblr is most known for feminists and porn? I know feminism isn't necessarily at odds with porn but it still seems odd.

I didn't even know it was known for porn.

Google absolutely any kind of porn you can think of, no matter how obscure or specific and add "tumblr". You will get at least a page of tumblr links with exactly what you're looking for. Sometimes I don't even want to look at a specific kind of porn but I'm just curious if this will be the time that tumblr fails me. Almost never happens and I suspect when it does that I just didn't word my search right.

If it weren't for porn Tumblr would likely lose 70% of their userbase.

Also I'm pretty sure the real reason is because there aren't many rules/regulations when it comes to posting pornography on there. Kinda like Twitter or DeviantArt in a way.
