Ah, so it was Calvin & Hobbes that ruined millennials. I guess we can stop writing articles about it now.

The Batlord 05-10-2018 11:06 AM

It might have tbh.

I serously read every single Calvin and Hobbes comic album 10+ times as a kid. I think it did me a lot of good as a human being, but I'll never know for sure.

I'm not sure if Calvin was the single most influential character to me as a person or if we would always have been soulmates but my god do we so much in common. Calvin, Deadpool, and I should all go out for cheap booze at a bar with ugly women.

I always felt more like I could relate to Hobbes, but their relationship was perfect for the comic. I think Bill Waterson made the right decision though, to terminate the comic before it started repeating itself. He could have churned out crappy repeats for years like Jim Davis did with Garfield (still does??), but he chose to end it before it went down hill. Sooo much respect for that.

I never read Deadpool as a kid. I just knew a little bit about Batman, Spiderman and Xmen (loved Xmen, who were called "Project X" in the early years of the comics here in Denmark). I had this album with the origin story of Wolverine which I adored. I never actually got into superhero comics that much. I just kind of read whatever was availbable, some of which would be super hero stuff.

With all of the Deadpool mania over the years he's been in some bad comics, but the good **** is amazing. His first solo series is one of my favorite things ever.

Deadpool disguised as Peter Parker while time travelling to a 70s issue of Spider-Man.

I'll try and take a look at that, but I'd honestly just prefer some .pdf files. I don't know what's in these .rar files from the linked site.

They're just comic book files. They're fine. PDF comic files are pretty rare actually. The vast majority of them are in .cbr or .cbz. I assure you, I have downloaded that link and it's fine.

Oh yeah though I keep forgetting about this site that has all it's comics readable in your browser.
