I know we have this idea that you should never put your hands on a child, but children are not innocent, are not delicate chandeliers, and are not our beautiful future. The same children we cooed over as babies and six-year-olds can grow up to be Nazis, wife beaters, and Nickelback members. At some point when one obviously has a severe mood or personality disorder that you can't reason with using, "We don't do that, Jimmy, we use our words", that little **** could do with getting grabbed by the throat and thrown to the ground like the bitch he is.

Who knows, he'll probably never be anything but a piece of **** who'll be society's problem when he's an adult, but just maybe he'll think twice about throwing hands against somebody he thinks won't fight back after this, so that at least we won't have to tolerate his being a ****ing psychopathic bully (probably won't make a difference tho tbh). The dude getting assaulted is patient as **** but god damn unless you're MLK there's no way 95% of us wouldn't do the exact same thing or quite possibly even worse.

I hope in ten years this kid does something dumb enough to get thrown in prison for half his life just so nobody but people who'll be happy to break the bones in his face have to deal with him. He is not our future and if he is then bring on the nuclear apocalypse.

I understand that, but if you're getting consistently punched and berated by a kid who apparently got into this **** by vandalizing cars and possibly your car, could you honestly say you wouldn't just lose it for five seconds, just five seconds, five seconds that involved grabbing a kid by the throat who'd probably be the first in line to join the SS just for the social status boost?

I mean how do you protect yourself? The dude walked away and got followed. And not just followed but confronted directly to the face by the most egregious disrespect anyone could be expected to deal with short of a government hearing about your communist ties. I wouldn't respect someone for getting violent towards that kind of aggression no matter who it was, but I definitely can't fault him for losing it for just five seconds. He didn't even pursue the attack, and maybe because he was just scared of the legal fallout, but he still got a hold of himself. He wasn't out of control and abusive, he was just understandably irate. I think I might have just repeatedly knocked the kid in the mouth with full force until I saw his teeth on the ground and blood in his mouth.

Now I'm a bad person but god damn it would be difficult to talk myself down from that.

The kid was not a threat. You protect yourself the way he did until the moment he threw the kid to the ground.
