btw Frown I did that mac & cheese recipe but changed it a bit, didn't put onions in it and I went a bit easy on the smoked paprika & mustard powder. Didn't want to overpower it, not sure if the recipe meant English mustard but that's all I've got and it is very hot. Used cheddar, candlewax and parmesan.

It was pretty good, but I think it's more hassle than it's worth.

I'm not sure what English mustard is, I typically use ground mustard. Shoulda stuck to the onions or at least a shallot, but ja you definitely have to be sure that you have the time for it.

I used Colman's mustard powder but I'm guessing there's no difference. English mustard (the jarred stuff not the powder) is really hot and a little bit burns your nose.

The recipe was good btw, just didn't expect it to be so much effort. The sauce takes the piss.

I dunno why I didn't put onions in it tbh.

I will probably do it again once I've ate all of these (about 6 servings).

Onions in mac & cheese sounds a bit wrong.

Rice and cheese, now you're talking!

**** onions tbh. The feeling of biting into onion is like nails on a chalkboard to me. It ruins any food it's in for me.
