the story of this is really sad, the woman who has/had him seemed to really love him and take good care of him but apparently isn't allowed to keep him

It is sad but that woman is crazy. She called the monkey her kid, FFS, and she just acts loopy in every interview I've seen with her on the news. But that's beside the point - apparently the monkey and some other exotic pets are illegal here so why should she be the exception? They send you to jail for that stuff.

Really? I read that she took good care of it at least, but that's sad. I call my cat my kid most times though :) But to be fair, I did raise him from three weeks old, fed him with a bottle, etc so it might be rather different. Pretty sure he actually does think of me of his mother, since he lets me do all sorts of weird **** to him like make him dance or carry him upside down lol

Nah, this woman was way beyond that, I think... she had a bunch of other pets and she said they were all siblings to each other and that they communicated telepathically to one another or some **** like that.

I'm pretty sure that species of monkey carries Hepatitis C anyways so I don't know why she would want it... if it bites you, you're done for.
