Also, when vanilla made this thread, it was asked of the mods whether it's a good idea or not, and evidently people thought it was a good idea, so it was left open.

I don't really have any issue with it being closed, but it just seems weird to close it with the basis that you're referring to.

Look it's still open !!!!

He did. I reopened it and warned Franco. But he's right, there comes to a point that if someone is spamming maliciously it can warrant a warning/infraction/ban. The repetitive pictures were becoming a bit ridiculous, even for a spam thread.

My band. Spam it, piss on it, just like it first. You'll probably like it.

As I said, one person shouldn't be the reason for closing a thread. An infraction works just as well. And I know that's what you did, I was just referencing my original point.

I don't quite know why Franco is getting blamed for it, yes he spammed this thread up with crap and was banned for it but I was closing it for the resulting 20 or 30 pages of crap that followed it after he was banned.

Because deleting someone's posts in a spam thread is pointless and applies unnecessary restrictions.

I understand about him spamming for his forum, but why should his pictures matter? It's a spam thread. It's not like he was posting porn and so far as I know, it's not like he was posting twenty posts in a row.
