It will still be red and just as long overall, just darker is all. Various people have forbidden me from ever removing the red, so. People who have the bone structure to pull off a shaved head are so lucky. Hair is annoying.

Long hair/shaved hair aren't the only two options. You could go shoulder length or even a little higher up where it frames your face.
