Some kind of weird, complex variant of a comic strip randomizer, based on something called a Markov Chain. I don't get the math behind it, but the results are hilarious!
I can't post a strip because the dialogue gets overlaid onto the strip image by a generator, so here's a link to the site instead: Garkov -- Garfield + Markov chains -- Josh Millard --------------------------- EDIT: Found on another weird Garfield mashup website: http://www.thereverend.com/barfield/...arfield036.gif and http://www.thereverend.com/barfield/...arfield037.gif |
I have ambitions to do the same to the first Batman story from Detective Comics. You have no ****ing idea how tedious it is to erase all the words from an actual comic book. Took me an entire day and I was just done with the whole thing afterward. And it wasn't even a full issue.

It would be funny though. Maybe just do a couple frames here and there while listening to music? It would take a year, but you could get it done.

I just noticed that the letters to SPQR (Senatus Populusque Romanum) are all next to each other in the alphabet but in a different order. Is this intentional? The odds have to be pretty stacked against it happening by chance.
