I'd guess he'd annoy more people by not bowing than he would by bowing. Stuff like that is petty to me and it isn't going to stop me voting for someone but a lot of people aren't like that. If he wants to be PM and he knows doing this is making him come across as unpatriotic and anti British (which a lot of people do not like about him) then if I were him I'd just bow for two seconds. But fair enough if that's what he believes then credit for sticking to it I guess.

Even among Labour voters I'd guess republicans would make up a minority of people. I don't know if there's a survey or some polling data out there but I am pretty sure the vast majority of people in the UK don't want to abolish the monarchy.

Why wouldn't you bow to the Queen?

Porn pop ups that only show up in the background so that you don't notice them till several hours later should be illegal.

I'd gladly shake her hand, but I would not bow to her. Nothing personal about it - she is a person just like me, and probably a nice one too, but not a natural superior. And since I'm not a top politician like Jeremy Corbyn, just a petty pinko activist, I don't need to care about my image.

I see the monarchy as a remnant of feudal society that has survived its historical role - that goes for the British monarchy as well as the Norwegian monarchy. Queen Sonja of Norway is probably a good person, but her title is purely symbolic and a waste of the taxpayers' money. I think the Queen of the UK is worse - agan, nothing personal - but the state she represents has, historically, been responsible for colonial atrocities in India, Ireland, Africa, Australia and so on. With that in mind, I don't want to bow to the Queen just to be nice, since respect is something that should be earned.

I'd bow to Kate Middleton if she lifted up her skirt.

I'd bow to the Queen. I think it would be cool to tell your friends. What's wrong with being nice anyway?

Fair enough mate.

Corbs might get his wish anyway as Harry said none of the current Royals want the crown.

I'd like to see William get it myself if anything.

My friends would be much more impressed if I didn't tbh. Anyway, you can be nice and polite without showing subservience to an authority figure you don't even recognize. I'd shake the Queen's hand, as I would anyone else's, but if I'm going to bow I'll need a good reason

Then we'd get a hot queen. Pretty much all I want from my royals.
