Yes I understood it, im just not sure why you think it matters. True it might help some but when youre in that state its about how you value your own life. To think it matters what the significance of yourself is to others doesnt seem like much of a solution.

2 of my friends hung themselves over relationships ending. You think they gave a **** about mommy loving them when they did it?

Not really. If you don't have a particularly high opinion of yourself then you're probably not going to believe that the positive opinions of others are based in fact, and therefore they are wrong about you.
