Does vinyl sound better than CD? Just wondering why the vinyl buyers on here choose that and not CD considering it's more expensive.
I buy rarely, only when I see a good deal and to fill in gaps in discographies. I would consider buying for art purposes also, but not really for listening. |

Sure, but it also works in reverse. Some vinyl records sound like garbage. For example, I have some early Judas Priest records that are shoddy as fuck. Not just the mixing, but the quality of the vinyl material itself is lackluster. Pretty much every digital version out there sounds better in comparison.
So make sure to do your homework, because vinyl is not always automatically better. |
