This is the first time I've felt a bit excited this season.
But Sheffield Wednesday dropped points again today and we are winning. Nine point gap with seven games to close it. Can we do it Q-Man? |

it'll be tough but the fixtures definitely allow for it. take the 3 points against Reading, Fulham, and Brighton and you're set imo.
it'll take a lot to keep Leeds from winning the play-offs though if someone had of asked me at the start of the season where Villa would finish i would have probably put money on top 3 tbh. maybe it's just my own biases but i definitely didn't see brighton or huddersfield being that high up the table.

pretty tight race, any of the teams in the top 15 atm could have a shot at playoffs. will be an entertaining final stretch.

Definitely will now, as the title race is done.
I want to slap some of our players though, we had a run at the start of the season under di Matteo where we dropped points in about four games on the trot and all the late goals were in like the 91st/92nd minute. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2016%E...ts_by_matchday Look at the goals conceded from 11th September to 27th... those first two months were absolutely brutal, those points could really be defining moment of the season tbh. the roll they're on as of late is much more like what i expect out of them in the championship though.
it's already hard enough on an organization to be dropped back down, but to spend two seasons in a row in the 2nd league is really going to hurt if it comes to that. all you can hope for is loyal players and smart transfers.
