This is just easiest to compare to the US example and particularly interesting considering Islam's reputation for being sexist

I know you recognize Turkey still has issues but those issues are huge with close to 2k judgements of human rights violations that have kept them from being able to join the EU. Just have a female president/head is nowhere near enough to be considered socially progressive.

Can I get 3 more specific countries that you think are socially progressive based off of the fact that they have a female head. Having a female head is worth less if Sharia Law is still rampant.

I agree much less and getting rid of sharia law is the easier part, the hundereds of Sharia courts exclusively in the west are the hidden problem
