Charge reasonable prices and I'll stop doing it. If not then it's just tough.

Honestly I'm just a parasite. You'd have to come up with a pretty ****ing convenient business model to counter free.

What are all these illegal streaming services? I only use Youtube, Netflix, and Spotify, and I know those are legit and what most people use.. Are we talking like porn thiefs?

Sports will be the big one. Kodi & subscription sites.

In this country, a Sky subscription is about £70 per month if you want the sports channels.

Add another £45 I think (correct me if anyone knows) for BT Sports as Sky and BT share the rights for football so you need a sub to both to watch legally.

Even with that, we cannot watch any 3pm kick offs live because there is a law against it (between 3pm-5:15pm on Saturdays no live football anywhere in the world can be shown in the UK). So because that's the traditional kick off time, that's most of the matches gone already. Then consider that with those subscriptions you're taking a chance on the matches they actually show because they don't show all of them, so you could be paying £100+ per month and not even see your team play once during that month.

You can attend the matches live if you can afford £30+ per match for a ticket. I'm being conservative with that price btw.

Meanwhile the rest of the world gets to watch our league including our 3pm kick offs for a fair price.

No wonder everyone streams. Plenty of supporters would be happy to pay a reasonable amount for a sub to their clubs if it meant watching legally, this isn't offered so fuck them tbh. Fans are treated like cunts in this country.

It's retarded.

The logic behind it is that if there are matches shown on the telly at that time, it will affect live attendances (people preferring to watch the same superclubs instead of going to lower league games) and the smaller clubs will suffer.

yeah that's crazy. i stream because i don't have cable tv in my apartment but growing up at home i was able to watch at the very least 3/4th of Man Utd's games on TV. that's without even having to buy the add-on sports package.
