I'm inclined to strongly disagree with you and ask if you're saying that because you've actually read it and thought it was terrible, or if you're saying that because of issues you have with religion in general (for which I wouldn't fault you in the slightest)? Just wondering...
Anywho, I can't say there is a book that I've read that I actually flat out hated. Usually if I'm not feeling it by the time I've read a decent portion of it, I put it down.

In all seriousness, the worst book I ever read is probably The Island by Peter Benchley (the dude who wrote Jaws). It's about a clan of modern day pirates who all live on some secret island in the Caribbean and are all descended from Blackbeard or some such bullshit. Anyway, it's as bad as it sounds.

umm, Across Five Aprils was horrible.
it made so little sense and it bored me so much i almost failed English that year (i usually get at least a 91% for a semester grade) |
