I have an 80 gb classic. I want to upgrade to a 120 maybe at some point; I know it's major overkill because I'll never listen to that much music in one trip but I don't like cyclin things out. I'm waiting for one big enough to hold my entire library that's also FLAC compatible. As far as I'm concerned, I'd say I'm better than an iPod. I hold more music than any of those ****ty mp3 players could hope to touch. I also have a lot of other useful functions, like a true random music generator and the ability to create sounds of all sorts. Don't even have to pay for soundbanks.

I have a 30 gb ipod video that I got a few years ago, and it works fine. At the time I was contemplating either getting the 30gb or the 60g and I do regret not having gone for the larger size. I hate not being able to have everything I want on there. I'm really indecisive too, so I take hours just deciding what albums to keep and which to take off. I can't complain though, because if I had gotten the 60gb I'd probably be lamenting not getting the 80gb, and so on.

I don't have one myself, and probably never will do. For a start I can't really be bothered to go get one, plus I prefer listening to music at home anyway.

Bulldog, I used to listen to music through my computer using Itunes, but Jackhammer tipped me off that my PC probably didn't have a good sound card. After hearing this, it became noticeable. With that in mind, I hooked up my ipod to my stereo, as the sound card in an ipod is far superior to that of my PC. This is great, because Last.fm will still scrobble my ipod plays. That's the real reason to get an ipod; quality sound in .mp3 or .m4a format.

I started out with just a shuffle for since I'm blind in one eye I can't see the Ipod screens aside from the touch and I really wasn't looking to dish out 200 bucks.
Another reason i got the shuffle is because I would only listen to it in school because at the time I was just a casual music listener and then once I got into to it a little bit more I got the 16 gb touch.
I remember those days with my shuffle were I would just listen to Nevermind over and over and over again.

1 iPod classic 160GB only for the size.

3 iPhones, but I always have 3 phones.

I have an old school iPod video, the kind they don't even make anymore. It's like an older version of the classic.

I wish they still made the 160gb or something comparable in size, the 120gb is just not enough in these days of compressed video and lossless forms of audio. I just don't understand why they would downgrade 40 gb.

p.s. Why would you ever need that many phones?
