there is no matter
i guess you may heard about it,scientists tell that there is no matter! matter is a myth... and this is something real; not utopic. What do you think about it? I am not telling that the matter around you does not exist; I am telling you that YOU -your body- also does not.
MATTER: The Other Name for Illusion What is explained in this book is an important truth, which has surprised many and changed their perspectives on life. This truth can be summarized as follows: "All events and objects that we encounter in real life-buildings, people, cities, cars, places-in fact, everything we see, hold, touch, smell, taste and hear-come into existence as visions and feelings in our brains". We are taught to think that these images and feelings are caused by a solid world outside of our brains, where material things exist. However, in reality we never see real existing materials and we never touch real materials. In other words, every material entity which we believe exists in our lives, is, in fact, only a vision which is created in our brains. http://www.harunyahya.com/matter.php |

Here are the two theories I have:
First of all the internet isn't real. It's a game. Obviously I'm real and you are if you're reading this but 99% of everyone else on the internet is not. Secondly all conspiracy theories are real and sent by the government to people they least expect the public to believe. |

I've read the first couple of pages and the author is already criticising himself. The explanations he uses to explain the lack of matter, by their very nature require matter. For instance, "consequently, light comes into existence as a result of the effects that some electromagnetic waves and particles cause in us." This statement is just plain wrong. We have labelled a set of electromagnetic frequencies "visible light," ie. electromagnetic waves that are detected by the eye. This is light since we say it is light. The fact that internally, we may all percieve it differently is irrelevent since we all agree it's visible light. If two people look at a red square, they will both agree they are seeing a red square, it's an incontrovertible fact. Also, notice he uses the word particles; particles are matter. Dave |
