Have you guys got any tips for reducing the itchiness during the first 2-3 weeks? Every time I try to grow a beard, it starts out fine and then becomes more and more irritating until I can't stand it any longer and have to shave it off. And that's a shame because I can grow a mean beard but haven't done so in 4 years.

In my experience (which is next to none, because I'm young and my beard is uneven sh*te), you just have to fight through a while and then it'll stop itching.

Unrelated:

When i said I had a beard that resembled Johnny Depp's earlier back, by the way, I never claimed it looked like a well groomed beard, or that it even looked good on me, just that it was the same style.

Yeah, I don't know how women find them attractive, I guess I kept the beard cuz I want to find a chick who doesn't care too much about my appearance but f*ck it. I care a lot about appearance myself and I shouldn't expect a woman not to, that's hypocritical of me and just an excuse not to take better care of myself.

Yes actually! I started washing it with Head and Shoulders (or whatever other anti-dandruff/menthol shampoo you can find) and it works beautifully...for a few hours anyway. I can live with washing by beard a few times each day...

Oh and boobs, shave that shit off man, you look like a child molester...:\
