The Roller Coasters/Thrill Rides Thread
I didn't find any such thread on this forum so I thought I'd make one.
One of the best possible experiances in life is riding a thrill ride. I rode my first roller coaster at the age of 8. It wasn't much of a roller coaster, it felt a lot more like a sled attached to a steel track, but nevertheless it put a love of thrill rides in me at a young age. Six years later I have ridden every single roller coaster at Canada's Wonderland and a number of the more intense rides. Some of my favorite attractions: Behemoth: The Mighty Canadian Minebuster Thunder Run Drop Tower Share your experiances and thoughts here.

I've only ever been to Playland in Vancouver, theme parks aren't really my thing. That coaster isn't really that scary, the only thing that's scary about it is it's a wooden roller coaster in the Pacific Northwest so the wood is just saturated with water and there's this unnerving feeling you get as you reach the top that it's going to collapse. |

4, there's that one, the Corkscrew, the Dragon, and the Wild Mouse. The corkscrew is the biggest disappointment of them all, from the look of it upon first glance you think it's going to be a pretty fun and exciting ride, but somehow they managed to make it bland and boring. The Wild Mouse is a pretty tall ride with a few steep drops but the scariest thing is the sharp corners, which at times you feel like your cart is going off the track. My favorite is the Dragon ride, it's essentially the little kids roller coaster but I think is the most enjoyable for what it is, it goes fast, has a decent steep drop, and does more than 1 lap.

i've been to a few parks, Cedar Point was one of the most fun, but my favorite ride has to be the X-Flight of Geauga Lake: apparently the coaster has since moved locations but this was the unusual 'Flying Dutchman' design which only a few coasters around the world boast. you go up on your back on the incline and flip over onto your stomach for the majority of the ride. really exciting.

^That ride looks amazing. They had something like that on Roller Coaster Tycoon (that game is awesome).
So I'm going to Canada's Wonderland with the school band in a week. I'm really really excited. We have to go to the pavillion for maybe an hour to perform but we have 10 AM till 6 PM at the park so most of the day will be spent screaming my lungs out with my friends.
