While I enjoy cardgames, my brother and mum never wanted to play so the only chance I had to play them was with friends (at least until I started flatting). Scum/asshole/presidents and arseholes is a favourite of mine. I actually don't like poker much though.

I used to love playing chess but I really haven't played in a long time - I was quite good back then.

Monopoly is fun too, and that often ends in mayhem... the last game I played with cousins ended up with us throwing half of the money around the room and squirting each other with water bottles.

Scrabble is another one I haven't played in ages... I think my flatmates are just afraid to challenge me there.

Despite being a bit of an RPG geek when I was a teenager, I wasn't greatly into the rest of the fantasy stuff so I never got into painting figurines, fantasy fiction or playing any of those cardgames like Magic or Yu-Gi-Oh. Despite collecting Pokemon cards, I only played a proper game with them once and it was rather tedious.

No big fans of Stratego? That is a GREAT game.
