Apples to Apples is one of my favorite party games, especially if you're drunk or high because you get some of the most retarded reasons for why the card you put down is right. Great game to record and listen to after wards. Another personal favorite of mine is Lord of the Fries, really cheap and easy to play as well as addicting.

I think Scrabble would be cool if I didnt play with my grandma. I use the Scrabble dictionary all game and still lose, what a waste of 8 hours.

Apples to Apples is awesome, as is Scrabble. A few years ago a bunch of my work friends and I would go to the Village Inn after our shifts (because they stayed open until 3am) and we'd order pie and milk and play scrabble and color those cool kids menues. They're shutting down now though. Damn economy.

Cribbage is another one of my favorites. When I was about 12 my grandma used to host non-formal tournaments at her house every sunday and usually I just wandered around the adults, emptying their ashtrays and bringing them fresh beers, but after awhile I started to join in. I actually won $50 one time. Good times.

My favorite family card game to play has got to be Spoons though. We broke a table once, things can get violent. Haha. It always ended in laughs.

My grandpa taught me cribbage when I was young then took me around to places to play against his friends. I remember beating this one guy that was awesome but he only had 3 fingers on one hand.

Here you can, although I guess it's easier in small towns. They have a budget they wanna get rid off, so if you have a legitimate cause, there you go. When we ran the cafè, they gave us money to hire in bands to have concerts as that's also considered culture.

I used to be big on Magic: The Gathering...

lately I replaced that with Poker, where everyone is more equal in my opinion

I have an awesome chess set with the pieces emblazoned onto shot glasses, so you fill the glasses up and every time you take an opponents piece they have to drink a shot. The Cat and I had a couple of games last time he was down. It was 1 game each and a bottle of whisky drunk. Good times.
