Fine then.
*TOTALITARIANISM (Its the religion) Things that you shall do or else risk facing accidental murder Mandatory Suggestion 1 If I die, you must also die by way of suicide or assisted death. This is your moment of freedom, respected mandatory follower, as you will be able to choose how to kill yourself.
Mandatory Suggestion 2 All newborn babies must be the result of my own sperm. If I cannot produce enough sperm, then it is your own fault and you must kill yourself. You will not choose how to kill yourself in this situation, you will die by way of the standard suicide device, which will be working yourself to death. Better luck next time. Mandatory Suggestion 3 No thinking, don't even think about it.Last edited by Kamikazi Kat; 05-04-2009 at 08:59 PM. |

Still , at least I don't inflict really bad poetry onto the world. That's a much worse crime.

I wonder what established religions are being made fun of .. My post here was criticism of scientology which I think every scientologist should read, but I can't remember coming across anything else. It doesn't mean there isn't some (I'm too lazy to look atm), but feel free to regard this as an invitation to point the mockery out to me.

My religion stresses acceptance and tolerance. Love, respect, humility and honor are cornerstones. Nothing is demanded. Membership is instant. Hierarchy is non-existent. Worship is expressed simply through living and allowing others to live. There is no idol, no symbol, no church except for the Earth. Respect and care for the Earth is paramount as it is our home and gift. Mindfulness and humbleness are touted, while antitheses such as ambition and friendly competition are supported as well. Evolution is an accepted practice, as progress is not only necessary but inevitable. Murder, greed, dominance, eminent domain, manifest destiny, prejudice, submission, hate, genocide and other ills of the modern man are recognized as unnecessary follies and dealt with as such. Over time these follies will lose their foothold in the collective consciousness of mankind - they are destroyed but never forgotten, to ensure that those pasts never repeat, as learning from the past is the only means to ensure a lasting future.
I call it common sense. |

so uhhh.. this has probably been said a few thousand times in this thread... but i refuse to notice or care ... i think any and all religions are a plague. no matter how you organize or practice your religion, there will always be dissenters and always be fundamentalists who won't agree and decide to butt **** each other out of existence. hate, prejudice and "other ills" are programmed into us for survival and it's not going to change any time soon.

I was arguing with someone about Prop 8...
I say, "What if Jesus was ***?" They say, "No fair! Everyone wore sandals back then!" My therapist made me do this a while ago. I made my own 10 commandments and everything....Its funny, I'll find it and post it. |
