^ Your hair is gorgeous...
Mine was awful, my mother used to cut my bangs to spite my grandmother (who was a beautician). I did not end up on the winning side of that argument: Last edited by 6underground; 03-02-2011 at 08:34 PM. |

Found an old baseball picture from when I was 7. I'm wearing the #8 jersey, and look absolutely *thrilled*. Being the only girl on the team was irritating.

I echo all the "awwwww's," Dayvan. You look like an adorable cherub, reminding me of this one: Quote:
At least you got the same uniforms. I still remember the awkward feeling of being made to feel different from my teammates during practice, because when the coach separated the team into "shirts" and "skins" and picked two kids to start the selections, I knew what team I'd be stuck on. I felt humiliated to be treated differently, especially when I didn't *look* any different from the boys, which made the whole "girls have to wear shirts" law even stupider than it already was. That was in the old days, though, back before adults came up with the novel idea of giving all kids those gender-neutral, stinky, sweaty red and green mesh jerseys to put on over their clothing.
