Yeah he is a waste of space sometimes.

I live in New Zealand, basically the best boutiques and more well known stores like chanel, D&G etc are in Auckland whereas I am down the other end of the country. So I go for the ones that are connected to the international designers and local designers such as Karen Walker who has fantastic lines. :D

I recommend if you ever buy a suit, get one designer as it makes it so much more special and sexy.

When I get working again I'm going to looking so damn good yes!

Do what you want, just dont post b-s about how some credit crunch is effecting us all.. It just shows that i know what I was talking about, not that I am any better or worse then you... Just different..

If crap was in fashion would you smear it all over your face? I surely hope not.:shycouch:

It is affecting everyone, billionares are losing their money and committing suicide etc. I buy only when I can afford, which is **** all these days. You called me a media tool, you don't know what you're talking about.

It's not about what's in fashion, it's about what your own personal tastes are and how you shape them to be unique compared to every other clone out there. You're seriously obtuse.

Yukon Cornelius 04-09-2009 10:31 PM

I just dont find it personal, thats why I posted the thing about crap smearing.
I don't think one should look horrible, its that I think just like anything else that people do for acceptance. Its horrible we are all victims, none of us are 100% original anymore.

I noticed someone posted something about my sig, basically calling the music crap.. Thats an opinion just like the one I have. I feel at least that I give freedom of choice.. If you decide on clicking thats up to you nobody made you do it. Nobody will ever make you do something, unless you give in.

I remember the days of flannel shirts and ripped jeans, those were my days.. I dont wear it anymore but I did for a while until I grew up. I just feel ppl that this whole fashion thing is media based. All these makeup commercials that make women feel its there civic duty to wear all this crap. 90% of it is crap, and it really pisses me off that its a virtual requirement to paint your face. Women are wonderful creatures without all the crap, with it they hide there true self and thats not healthy at all.

Men are guilty of it to, however I feel that women are the main target. They are made to feel fat and insecure. So they hide behind makeup. I've noticed some of the most attractive women wear little to no makeup at all. I also want you to think of how attractive these models and actresses really are. If you took the makeup and plastic faces off of them would they be nasty? no they would just be not actress worthy. I'm just pointing out basic facts.. Women are always compared to that of hollywood and thats not f-ing fair since there all fake.

soundofsilver 04-09-2009 10:42 PM

Yeaaah, I stick with whatever is comfortable or looks good on me ^^
I typically go for Hot Topic. They're a bit pricey, but whatever. I dont want you guys to think Im uhhh....TRYING to be different. Its just what I like. =D

Man none of this was meant for any acceptance purpose what so ever. If I dont blow money on booze and bud, I blow it on clothes. I talk about booze and bud all the time, so it was time to talk about clothes. Did anyone say your music was crap? Dont jump in on a convo you have no interest in other than being a ****. And hope your roast thread made you feel a little better about yourself, too bad none of us are low enough to jump at the opportunity. Obviously youre too worried about what people think if thats what pops into your head when people want to chat about clothes. I hear where youre coming from with all of this, but thats not where Im coming from. It doesnt really matter what youre wearing as long as you can enjoy some good tunes in it.

Who gives a **** about whether women wear make-up or not? I wear make-up because it excentuates my features and I wear hot clothes to express myself, not just wear what everyone else is wearing and blend in. That's my personality.

It's nothing to do with Hollywood, it's to do with what people see themselves as.

I've never been fussy about brand names but I have been known to spend £500 on a coat.

A good coat is truly a wonderful thing, same goes with a good pair of shoes.

Never been that bothered about shoes. I did own 10 coats at one time. 7 of them leather jackets.

jackhammer 04-10-2009 11:28 AM

My leather jacket cost shedloads: £4.50- charity shop :D. The only brands I buy relate to my trainers otherwise it's just T-shirts and jeans/combats. I do own a rather nice quicksilver shirt though.

333 04-10-2009 11:37 AM

Why is it you boys are the only ones posting in here? Hm?

jackhammer 04-10-2009 11:48 AM

I resent the term 'Boys' TY :D

333 04-10-2009 12:06 PM

Hahahahaha

correction: boys & jackhammer

Urban Hat€monger ? 04-10-2009 12:10 PM

I like shopping.

Your talking to someone who spent £600 in Tower Records in 20 minutes

333 04-10-2009 12:18 PM

Well, when we're talking about music, that's different. I spend as much as I can on music, but we don't have **** around here, so I always have to drive a couple hours to a good store, which I think I might do today since you mentioned it. :D
