Not that I want to diminish what you feel, because obviously it's very real, but the sad state of it is that most high school relationships (and high school "love") doesn't last. It's a crazy time for people since so much is going on, physically and mentally. I'd be lying if I said I didn't get love-sick in high school either, but you grow up a lot after that's all finished and look back on it all quite differently then however you view it now.

Sorry, if this isn't exactly comforting, I really do sympathize with you, but I just felt honesty is important. If you want someone to talk to to just vent, don't hesitate to ask. Just letting yourself get it out is usually the best medicine.

Dude, just be glad shes not trying to claim the kid is your's. Show her the finger and get with her friends while they still feel sorry for you. Play the hurt guy how really need someone to talk to role (which doesn't seem to be a problem for you) and it will work everytime. The games have just began my friend. Now get out there and start sleeping with your ex's friends, there is nothing in this world more rewarding... Unless you can get her mom, or sister.

Also, I agree having a kid at 16 would really alter the course of your life quite significantly, and I can't say it would be for the better. It's incredibly hard and I don't think anyone at the age of 16 is ready for that emotional, physical and mental burden.

The fact that your not even concerned about the pregnancy calls into question your legitimacy in regards to this thread.
It's not his kid. Reading comprehension FTW.

after she gets an abortion and you're still pissed, confront her.

you probably won't be pissed, though.

Well all I'll say is don't plan for that anytime soon. By the time you're 20 or older, you're world and life view will have changed incredibly and you'll probably be very glad you didn't have children so young.

Look at this way, you just learned that she's the kind of person that lies and cheats so she's not a good person to be with. It's better that you found this out now so you can move on with your life than you spending years and years with her before discovering what kind of person she really is.
