Yea that is pretty disgusting. And by that I mean as a guy I will stretch my sheets lifespan out as long as humanly possible so I understand. Regardless though, Id rather sleep on just the mattress.

I hate laying on just the mattress. Feels super weird! My sheets and blankets get washed regularly so I don't have to do this, lol.

Very little on earth feels as comfortable and cozy as clean bedding. Very little (short of actual physical harm) feels worse than dirty sheets and pillowcases.

Same could be said of underwear and socks IMO
