forgive me if I've posted this before but is there such thing as 'retrosexual'?

I find it hard to be attracted to anyone living in this century (apart from Ki, obviously) because of how they act/dress/present themselves (I'm more inclined to the seduction of men (and even women) of the 60s and 70s).

I'm sure there's a tumblr subculture of retrosexuals out there somewhere battling other subcultures to see who's more oppressed and wagin war to determine who can find ways to be pseudo offended. You just gotta research.

I dress like a 14th century peasant. Even tape a turnip to my nose for added effect. Wanna hook up?

it really isn't about looks, so much as it is about attitude and composure.

and it's a plus if they can dress well

or if they're 50 years old

Oh yesss. But Paul Simonon was the first male I was ever attracted to, before that I was only into girls.

You love their attitude? The same attitude where they feel like women are beneath them and belong in the ****ing kitchen and they would slap down in a heartbeat if they spoke out of turn.

You are romanticizing a time that was really awful for everyone except for white males.

You can't tar a whole generation with the same brush. There have always been those who renounced the common culture and customs of their time, in favour of living in accordance with the values of their heart.

exactly.

basically what I was trying to say is that I spend a lot of time fawning over gentledude rockers/other famous faces and/or found polaroids of unknowns from the past, but I've never really looked at many dudes in my general vicinity and gone "wow, he's gorgeous".
