These are pinworms and they can come out of the vagina.

Ew! Also, I'm pretty sure that is not a vagina...

Ha, fair enough. Although,

It's true, pretty gross. But pinworms are tiny, they are about as thick as a human hair, so I doubt the spaghetti story is true.

Most people have had pinworms at some point in their life, though. They're very common and pretty harmless; we all have a variety of different parasites living in and around our gastrointestinal system and anuses.

EDIT: Don't you love the turn the Sexual Experience Thread has taken!

we might as well venture into STD territory lol.

Anyone ever get caught up with something?

I'm a good boy and wrap it up every single time so I have a clean record. I just recently went to planned parenthood to get tested.

I've never had anything either, although don't they say that most sexually active adults have had HPV without even realising? "Worldwide, HPV is the most common sexually transmitted infection in adults.[3] For example, more than 80% of American women will have contracted at least one strain of HPV by age fifty." Same goes for men, I'd assume!

That's why they have been administering the Gardasil vaccination to young girls and boys before they become sexually active and can contract the disease, to ultimately help prevent ovarian cancer which is linked to HPV :)

The vaccine came out when I was in university, I remember it was pretty groundbreaking. I had only been sexually active for a little while before I received the vaccination so I wonder if I ever contracted HPV or if I am completely "clean!"

That vaccine is ****ing expensive here. Government and most private insurance policies don't pay for it.

I've never had an STD/STI. The chance of catching something go up with each new person you sleep with, but I've never slept around.

I did have mono when I was 19 or 20. Probably from sharing drinks as I had yet to be kissed then. That was bad, put me under the weather for months.

Seriously?! It's administered here for free here! At high schools, to those you fall under the age bracket of the vaccine being most effective. I'm pretty sure when it came out I got it for free as well, through some sort of government funding, as I fell into the age bracket.

It should be free, that's ridiculous. If it is successful and you have the vaccine without contracting HPV, it can pretty much completely cut down your chances of getting ovarian cancer completely. How sad :( Australian researchers are the ones who I guess were responsible for the success of the vaccine, maybe that's why it's so prominent here. It should be free everywhere for adolescent boys and girls, ridiculous.

I've also heard a statistic lately that most people have HSV type 1 which is oral herpes. It's a pretty common strain.

I can't remember how much it costs but it's quite costly. It's free for girls and boys in junior high/middle school (the schools have a vaccination program), but when the vaccine came out here I was already in high school. 11th grade I think.
