Vanilla, I found out one of my boyfriend's friends has a thing for girls from Australia and New Zealand. You should get your butt over here pronto :tramp:

Um, hook me up! Excuse me while I fly over there! :)

Wow a new job and a hot guy! I'm the happiest I've been in weeks!

So, uh .. question. Have any of you who are in relationships tried involving more romantic partners, as in threesomes or open relationships? And how did it affect your (main) relationship?

I know it now sounds like I've been trying to convince the old lady, but that's not the case. I've been very sceptical towards multiple partners and that has seemed to make sense from the point of view of my biological studies (especially for guys sharing their woman with other guys). When people on TV say that they are happy in open relationships, I wonder if they're really honest or if the drama's just not happened yet or if they're living in a fantasy.

So, tried it? Good idea or no?

edit :

I may be an old school prude, but I think a better name for this thread would be "Marital Arts".

Who doesn't? I think I probably wandered around Australia for seven weeks with my mouth wide open. I've never been to New Zealand but I can imagine it's a similar deal.

I have been asked by ex boyfriends to do threesomes but have never considered it as a reality until now. I would consider doing a threesome ONCE with a girl and a guy but that is all. It certainly wouldn't be in the relationship that I know is forever, it needs to be with a guy that I'm not serious with. Which is usually the case. I generally want a guy (as a soul mate) to be prudish with that kind of stuff but great with experimenting in the bedroom, if that makes sense. It just requires a balance, but the respect needs to be there.

I do think open relationships are a fantasy, but won't deny that for some couples it would work. Communication would be crucial with that. I'd never be open to that though, it's either commit to me or feck off.

Well honestly I don't think New Zealand girls are that attractive (obviously some are but not majority compared to Ukraine for example), but Australian guys are ridiculously sexy. I'm not sure about the ladies. Guys here are average too. But I find most Kiwi guys a right pain in the ass, and obsessed with Rugby which bores me to tears (sorry Urban!), yet I like Football (soccer).

A guy and a girl? That's very kind of you :p: So you wouldn't rather do a threesome with two guys? I'd definitely take two girls over a guy and a girl.

Just swap the guy for a gal and that's pretty much how I feel. We think alike :)

Hehe, I'm glad to hear that. I've always fancied you to be honest, but you're lovely wife would probably not want me to be the third wheel. ;)

I honestly think two guys would make me feel like I'm a pig on a spit roast. I'm not a porn star. And I've secretly always wanted to try sex with a girl just once. I don't know if I'd like it but I like breasts and girls are excellent kissers (well, most of them are).

The accent has a lot to do with it, I can't lie. You have the accent thing going for you too, most definitely, even though it's different my brain must still register it as being at least very similar.
