I stay away from the vag during its periods. I mean ...

While admittedly i have dunked in the red sea, I am not fond of it. Of all the bodies fluids nothing is more of a turnoff then blood.

That's horrifying.

I could never do that. Even hearing female friends talk of menstruation makes me squick, it's nasty.

I wouldn't qualify it as horrifying, just messy.

Yeah, I was sat eating lunch with some other girls when I was at school and they started talking about how they bled on their mum's sheets once...

Lucky I wasn't eating jam sandwiches.

It even worse when girls tweet/facebook it. That's the girl equivalent of a guy posting "Just had a brilliant wank". There are some things i don't need to know.

I don't go near period sex. Hence, being a lesbian sucks; if both ladies aren't synced up and having their monthlies at the same time, it's 10-12 days of no sex every month in total.

I had a girlfriend once who was DTF while either of us were on the rag, but I was not, so that didn't happen.

Honestly that's one of the better facebook status updates these days.

Maybe it's because I grew up with my sister and mother, but I've never had any disgusted reaction towards periods. It's just blood. It doesn't tend to smell, it's a bit gloopier than normal blood and I have no real urge to find out if it tastes like normal blood, but getting grossed out by it doesn't really make much sense.

Besides, it's incredibly handy to know whether a girl you are around regularly has regular periods or whether she's on her period at any one time. All the more invaluable if said girl is rather susceptible to mood swings :P
