DP: yes or no?

I'm assuming that involves two men, which isn't quite my cup of tea.

Yup, it's short for "double penetration" and usually involves one female and two males.

Just ... find the clit Darkest. This is the best piece of advice for muff diving is to find the clit. Don't spend all your time there (play around with the general sensitive areas) but if you're trying to tongue **** her vagina it will a) taste bad and b) do nothing (or very little) for her. Once she's warmed up staying clear of that and focussing on the clit will a) get her off and b) mean you don't have to taste pussy juice the rest of the evening. Hell I've done down on a girl during her period and would do again because it really doesn't matter - I won't be going there with my mouth anyway.

ew, the only person I could see wanting to go down on a girl during her period is Edward Cullen, and that idea still disgusts me.

Looks like there is a relationship to popularity after all.

Wikipedia huh? Try going to dictionaries for definitions of words. For some reason (maybe because every man and his dog can edit it ...) wikipedia doesn't usually stand up so strong. Not to mention the article you quote from (Sexual fetishism - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia) is talking in reference to psychological disorders (hence why it talks about treatments and such). One of the core points that runs throughout psychology is whether or not something should be classed as a disorder just because it's not "popular" or common. So obviously in an article talking about the discussion and diagnosis of sexual fetishism an unfair (untrue?) bias will be placed on the specification that it must be an uncommon interest to be classed as a fetish - otherwise there would be no justification for a need to treat it.

fetish - Definitions from Dictionary.com

Quote:

fet⋅ish
–noun
1. an object regarded with awe as being the embodiment or habitation of a potent spirit or as having magical potency.
2. any object, idea, etc., eliciting unquestioning reverence, respect, or devotion: to make a fetish of high grades.
3. Psychology. any object or nongenital part of the body that causes a habitual erotic response or fixation.
Chambers Search Chambers

Quote:

fetish noun (fetishes) 1 in primitive societies: an object worshipped for its perceived magical powers. 2 a procedure or ritual followed obsessively, or an object of obsessive devotion. 3 a an object other than the sexual organs that is handled or visualized as an aid to sexual stimulation; b a person's attachment to such an object.
fetish - Definition from the Merriam-Webster Online Dictionary

Quote:

fe·tish

1 a: an object (as a small stone carving of an animal) believed to have magical power to protect or aid its owner ; broadly : a material object regarded with superstitious or extravagant trust or reverence b: an object of irrational reverence or obsessive devotion : prepossession c: an object or bodily part whose real or fantasied presence is psychologically necessary for sexual gratification and that is an object of fixation to the extent that it may interfere with complete sexual expression
2: a rite or cult of fetish worshipers
3: fixation
AskOxford: fetish

Quote:

fetish

• noun 1 an inanimate object worshipped for its supposed magical powers. 2 a form of sexual desire in which gratification is focused abnormally on an object, part of the body, or activity. 3 a course of action to which one has an excessive and irrational commitment.
You will notice that none of these four internet dictionaries (three of which I would be tempted to term as "very respectable" - Chambers, Merriam-Webster and Oxford Dictionaries all with hefty, tangible tomes you can buy from a book shop as well as reference online) specify proportional popularity as being at all relevant to the classification of something to be termed as a fetish. The requisite is that undue interest is paid to something for the purposes of sexual gratification.

Regardless, your snubbing also lacks an erudite attitude and ignores (again) the original point made. Namely, how can somebody with such self-certainty claim something (in this instance, that of body hair) to be not-a-fetish. Especially due to the fickle nature of humanity to move in and out of trends, and for there to be such a degree of cross cultural variation. Considering the population of Earth is 6+ billion (I forget what it is nowadays) and Western culture makes up for a very small proportion of this, and that a penchant for the hairless cooch is predominately a fascination of Western culture, and that even so the definition of fetish is irrespective of majority interest - how can it be claimed that expecting a shaven vagina is in any way, shape or form anything other than a fetish.

Although to be honest my original intent wasn't to start an argument as to who was right or wrong, just to encourage people to think outside of the box that society demands of us. To put into perspective the self-certainty that society has on it's own internal viewpoints.

lol. I hate to break it to you but there is no such thing as a perfect, immutable source for definitions. Words mean whatever they are popularly perceived to mean. The whole point of my last post was that the "post a definition" game is a meaningless faux-argument. That you responded with a long diatribe full of more dictionary quoting and an attempted Wikipedia refutation only serves to highlight the fact that you (a) completely misunderstood the point of my last post and (b) have a poor grasp of how language actually works. Hint: dictionaries are a guide, not a carved-in-stone final authority.

No. Words mean what they are intended to mean by the speaker. Otherwise, black people calling friends ******s would cause a hell of a lot more arguments than it does.

I bow to your English diploma, and mightier e-penis. Maybe, however, I ignored the point of your last post because it was unproductive, irrelevant and wrong? Maybe it's only with hindsight that your point has apparently changed?

I didn't "attempt to refute" the Wikipedia reference. I ignored as a dis-contextualised non-sequitur.

Just wanted to make sure you hadn't missed this. I'm quite happy if you'd like to continue to argue.

Jesus, people! Enough with the damned definitions already. It's a sexual experience thread, and there's nothing worse when to hear you guys quoting the dictionary.

Alright, I've a few people to answer to:

SATCHMO: The last thing you should ever expect me to hold back from is sex. I abbreviated "double penetration" just for sensitive e-ears like yourself. You act like you're soooo innocent, though.

Fal: So, I don't know if it's your avatar or what, but you come off a little bit like a Mr. Know-it-all. :p Not a bad thing, though. I personally find it humorous when a male gives cunnilingus advice. Though you were on the right track, there were a few things I (with a clit) could disagree with. First of all, yes, clitoral stimulation is most certainly important; however, depending on the person (and the size of the tongue, I suppose), tongue-fucking is good, too. And if the girl is clean, there's no reason for it to taste bad. Nothing is more of a turn-off then when a guy acts grossed out down there. Also, an easy way to tell if a girl is coming is to feel for contractions. You can feel it on the outer vagina, but more so inside. I can only imagining it's frustrating not really knowing because many women cheat themselves out of it by faking.

Vanilla, oh, vanilla. I always like responding to you. :) I see you were extremely happy about the DP question. I raise my eyebrow at you, woman. Secondly, the cumming during oral sex. I think that it is amazing, and my heart flinched a little when you said you only came once or twice from it. :( So, I hope to not offend you (or anyone else, mainly syd), but have you ever had a woman go down on you? Let's face it, we're more sensual and we've vaginas, too, so most of us know what we're doing down there. Also, another tip is penetration AND clitoral stimulation. Some of the best orgasms, girl. ;)

Sorry for the novel, folks, but I gotta get my two cents in. :D

crash, nothing wrong with a freak. I've personally done the DP thing only twice, but not with two guys and not in one hole. There are such things as toys, too, ya know.

SATCHMO 04-16-2009 12:46 PM

My penis has a restraining order against other penises being within 18" of it. Just too close for comfort. I'll run a train though.

That's odd SATCHMO, I always pictured you as the type of guy who's into swordfights.
